Forensic Mental Health

“Forensic” mental health are services related to or associated with legal issues. Clients engage treatment via the criminal justice system at the Local, County, State or Federal level.

Services

Forensic counseling services includes assessment, evaluation and treatment. Individuals are self-referred; by attorneys or courts, community supervision or justice agencies.

Additionally, participants may struggle with Psychotic, Non-psychotic, Organic or Environmentally-Based brain disorders. Histories and experiences of Intellectual disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, Personality or Behavioral disorders are common as well.

Persons involved with Forensic treatment behave in ways that led or could lead to criminal conduct. These behavioral issues include sexual offense, anger management or domestic violence crimes. I provide this therapy in an outpatient community-based setting.
